vintage playroom 1

Welcome to our playroom.

vintage playroom 5

It’s a happy place.

vintage playroom 4

It’s where our vintage fisher price toys live.

vintage playroom 6

They are classics.

I found most of them on shopgoodwill.com. Did you know you can shop Goodwill online?

vintage playroom 8

Well, you can. It’s like an auction. You can choose a local goodwill and pick-up, or pay shipping for items coming from other locations across the country.

Most of the fisher price items are sold in lots, so you can get some pretty good deals.

Also, if you know exactly what you are searching for it is a nice way to shop without driving all around town.

The kids love them, too. They set up little towns and make stories about the people.

I love this playroom!! It actually reminds me of the playroom in our last home – the stripes/colors, PLAY on the wall, bookshelves, the globes 🙂 And HOW COOL that you can shop Goodwill online!! We actually don’t have a local Goodwill and I have missed stopping in to see what treasures I can find. Thanks so much for sharing this big secret!!

First, I applaud you, standing up, for what you are doing with the green movement. Brava!! Second, the memories that were jogged looking at the vintage fisher price toys in this post literally brought tears to my eyes. I had almost every single one of those in my toy box growing up and got many years of joy from them. I hope your children have the same happy experiences.
