This is what appears on the “about” page of my blog:
a blog inspired by real life
I am a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, interior designer, perpetual student of life, and dreamer.
Real life, yours and mine, is my inspiration!
The categories included on my blog are:
being a wife
being a mom
being a daughter
being a sister
being a friend
being an interior designer
being a perpetual student of life
being a dreamer
All of these are parts of who I am, but what about being me?
I am learning to be me again. Somewhere along the line I stopped being me. Or, more likely, I changed things about me that I would like to change again.
Who am I?
Who do I want to be?
I am adding a new category…being me.
home is…being me.

We’re never the same me as we were the day (or even hour) before… we are always creating ourselves in one way or another… what a joy! what a challenge! It will be fun to watch you be you!
I think what I was trying to say is that there are parts of who I am that I have let go and I want them to be a part of who I am again. I am going to write about where I think I lost them along the way…and how I can get them back.
I love the parts that I have added (and continue to add), I just want to get some of the old parts back.
