…it’s Monday!
45:56
That’s how long it took me to run the Shamrock 8k.
9:15 pace.
In the rain.
I love setting goals and achieving them!
My goal was to run the 4.9 miles in less than 50 minutes.
Done!
By the way, I came across this online article about setting and achieving goals. Are you a goal setter? Do you get a thrill from the action of setting, doing and achieving your goals?
home is…being a junkie for goal achievement.
IMPRESSIVE! Congratulations on your achievement Steph… we’re proud of you!
Thanks Kathy! I will be running a 10k in April…goal for that: under 60 minutes!
Congrats! I was 20 seconds behind you. Best feeling ever…. to set a goal and then make it happen.
Blondie hits the Shamrock and lives to tell the tale! Well done. That 10K will be a nice bump in challenge.
Same race in April…same goal! 😉 Let’s do it!
I would LOVE to have somebody to run with in April! Yay!
Great job!! I, too, love setting and then achieving my goals. Even when I don’t quite make it, the process is still valuable and rewarding. If it’s okay with you, I’d like to link to this post from our blog…
Which 10k are you running in April?
Absolutely!
I am signed up for the Race for the Roses AND Bridges to Brews. May run one, may run both…we will have to see!
I signed my kids up for the 1/2 mile Bridges to Brews run, too!
Nice job Steph!!! Way to go!! Such motivation and dedication!! So very proud of you!
